I have over 10 years experience as an accountant. As with any other subject, accounting tutoring provides students with an opportunity to ask questions and a chance to review various calculations and rules at their own pace. During a lecture session, it is easy to fall behind because your professor will move at a pace that makes it possible to go over all the material of their lesson plan. Rules on why an entry is debited or credited can be very tricky. That is one of many problems faced by new accounting students. Oftentimes, I will break the material down into small steps and have my client do one or two problems to gauge their comprehension before we move forward. It is essential to master the earlier lessons to move forward with the more complicated problems.

I have the highest opinion of John D.'s tutoring style. He first familiarizes with the material and studies it deeply together with you and makes sure that you get to understand the details of the exercises. He gives you time to think of what he has taught to you and also sends follow-up emails to know how you are doing. When it comes to appointments, he is punctual and does not check the watch to see if 60 minutes are already up. I have had other tutors that are checking their watches all the time and at 00:59:00 (hh/mm/ss), they are already wrapping up. That is not John D.' style. He is there for you to learn and is very calm when explaining the subjects.
